Walter DohrnΒ (born December 5, 1970) is an American writer, director, animator, musician, and actor. He performed the voice ofΒ Rumpelstiltskin inΒ Shrek Forever AfterΒ (2010) and various characters inΒ Shrek the ThirdΒ (2007). He co-directed the filmΒ TrollsΒ (2016), directed its sequels, and voiced multiple characters in the franchise. He is directingΒ Shrek 5, set for release in 2026. Dohrn has also worked as a writer, director, and storyboard director inΒ Season 2Β ofΒ SpongeBob SquarePants, and he also worked on two episodes fromΒ Season 3.Β In 2020, Dohrn signed a deal withΒ DreamWorks Animation.
