Stephanie Cristina Cayo Sanguinetti (born April 8, 1988) is a Peruvian actress, singer, model, and dancer. She has established an international career across the Peruvian, Colombian, Mexican, and Spanish markets, receiving prestigious accolades such as the India Catalina Award for Best Lead Actress and the TVyNovelas Award for her performance in the 2012 Colombian series El Secretario. Additionally, she has been recognized on multiple occasions as one of the most influential figures in Hispanic entertainment on streaming platforms.
βShe began her television career in Peru at the age of ten, appearing in commercials and debuting in the children's telenovela Travesuras del corazΓ³n (1998). She gained regional recognition at 16 as the lead in the series Besos robados (2004), an international co-production that helped project her image outside of her home country. After moving to Colombia to further her acting training, she starred in high-impact productions such as La marca del deseo (2007), DoΓ±a Bella (2010), and La HipocondrΓaca (2013), successfully transitioning from youth roles to more dramatically complex leading parts.
βSince 2015, her career has pivoted toward the global market and film. She was part of the main cast of the Netflix series Club de Cuervos (2015β2019), the platform's first Spanish-language original production, which granted her visibility throughout the continent.
