Shazad LatifΒ (bornΒ Iqbal Amin; 8 July 1988) is a British actor who starred as Tariq Masood in theΒ BBCΒ TV seriesΒ Spooks, Clem H. Fandango onΒ Toast of London, andΒ Dr. Jekyll and Mr. HydeΒ inΒ Penny Dreadful. In 2017, he was cast as Chief of Security Ash Tyler in theΒ CBS All AccessΒ (nowΒ Paramount+) television seriesΒ Star Trek: Discovery. He also portraysΒ Captain NemoΒ in the live-action seriesΒ NautilusΒ from 2024.
