Biography
Shauna McGarry is a Los Angelesβbased television writer, producer, and mediaβarts educator. Raised in Santa Barbara, California, she earned a BFA in Film Production from NYU Tisch in 2005 with a minor in Gender Studies. She has written for shows including BoJack Horseman, Tuca &β―Bertie, Craig of the Creek, and Katy Keene, and served as executive producer on animated projects such as The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy. Her work on Tuca &β―Bertie earned an Annie Award for Episodic Writing. Shauna is also president of the board of Echo Park Film Center which she's been a part of since 2005, a Los Angelesβbased nonprofit cinema and media school, and is active in live storytelling and performance projects.
