Sandra HΓΌllerΒ (born 30 April 1978) is a German actress. She has appeared in German, Austrian, British, French, and American films. She has receivedΒ various accolades, including twoΒ European Film Awards, aΒ CΓ©sar AwardΒ and threeΒ German Film Awards, and nominations for anΒ Academy Award and twoΒ BAFTA Awards.
HΓΌller has playedΒ Anneliese MichelΒ inΒ Hans-Christian Schmid's 2006 dramaΒ Requiem, for which she won theΒ Silver Bear for Best Actress, and a troubled daughter inΒ Maren Ade's 2016 comedyΒ Toni Erdmann, for which she won her firstΒ European Film Award for Best Actress. She portrayedΒ Irma SztΓ‘rayΒ inΒ Frauke Finsterwalder's 2023 historical black comedyΒ Sisi & I.
International recognition came in 2023 for her starring roles inΒ Justine Triet'sΒ legal drama Anatomy of a FallΒ andΒ Jonathan Glazer'sΒ Holocaust dramaΒ The Zone of Interest.
