Ryan Thomas GoslingΒ (/ΛΙ‘ΙslΙͺΕ/Β GOSS-ling; born November 12, 1980) is a Canadian actor, singer, and musician. Known forΒ his workΒ in bothΒ independent filmsΒ and major studio features, his films as a leading actor have grossed over US$4 billion worldwide. He has receivedΒ various accolades, including aΒ Golden Globe Award, plus nominations for threeΒ Academy Awards, nineΒ Critics' Choice Awards, twoΒ British Academy Film Awards, and aΒ Primetime Emmy Award.
