Stephen Russell DaviesΒ (/ΛdeΙͺvΙͺs/Β DAY-vis; born 27 April 1963) is a Welsh screenwriter and television producer known professionally asΒ Russell T Davies. He is best known for being the originalΒ showrunnerΒ andΒ head writerΒ of the 2005 revival of theΒ BBCΒ sci-fi seriesΒ Doctor Who, from 2005 to 2010 and again since 2023.
