Ross AndruΒ (/ΛΓ¦ndruΛ/; bornΒ Rostislav Androuchkevitch, June 15, 1927 β November 9, 1993)Β was anΒ AmericanΒ comics artistΒ andΒ editorΒ whose career in comics spanned six decades. He is best known for his work onΒ The Amazing Spider-Man,Β Wonder Woman,Β The Flash, andΒ The Metal MenΒ and for having co-created the character calledΒ The Punisher.
His most frequent collaborator was comics inkerΒ Mike Esposito, with whom he worked on projects over four decades. The two also founded three short-lived comic book companies:Β Mr. PublicationsΒ (1951),Β MikeRossΒ (1953), andΒ Klevart EnterprisesΒ (1970).
