Rina SawayamaΒ (Japanese:Β γͺγγ»γ΅γ―γ€γ; born 16 August 1990)Β is a Japanese-British singer, actress, and model.Β Born inΒ Niigata, Japan, she emigrated to London with her parents at the age of five. In 2017, sheΒ self-releasedΒ her debut extended play,Β Rina. After signing toΒ Dirty HitΒ in 2020, she released her debut studio album,Β Sawayama, to critical acclaim. Her second studio album,Β Hold the Girl, was released on 16 September 2022. Known for her musical versatilityΒ and integration of feminism into her craft, Sawayama has also modelled for fashion campaigns and made her film acting debut in the action filmΒ John Wick: Chapter 4Β (2023).
