Danielle Riley KeoughΒ (/ΛkiΛoΚ/Β KEE-oh; born May 29, 1989) is an American actress and the eldest grandchild ofΒ Elvis Presley.Β She made herΒ feature filmΒ debut in a supporting part in the musical biopicΒ The RunawaysΒ (2010), portrayingΒ Marie Currie. Keough subsequently starred in the independent thrillerΒ The Good DoctorΒ (2011) before being cast in a minor role inΒ Steven Soderbergh's comedy filmΒ Magic MikeΒ (2012). She appeared in her first big-budget release in the action featureΒ Mad Max: Fury RoadΒ (2015).
In 2016, Keough had her breakthrough role as anΒ escortΒ in the first season of the anthology seriesΒ The Girlfriend Experience, earning aΒ Golden Globe AwardΒ nomination forΒ Best Actress. Her performance as a wayward young woman in the dramaΒ American HoneyΒ (2016) earned her further acclaim, including anΒ Independent Spirit Award nomination forΒ Best Supporting Female.
Keough went on to star in the horror filmΒ It Comes at NightΒ (2017) and in Soderbergh's heist filmΒ Logan LuckyΒ (2017); she then appeared in the horror filmsΒ The House That Jack BuiltΒ (2018) andΒ The LodgeΒ (2019). Keough is a co-founder of theΒ production companyΒ Felix Culpa. She has co-directed the dramaΒ War PonyΒ (2022), which won theΒ CamΓ©ra d'Or. She became the sole owner of Elvis Presley's estate, Graceland, following her mother,Β Lisa Marie Presley's death in 2023.
