Peri GilpinΒ (bornΒ Peri Kay Oldham; May 27, 1961)Β is an American actress best known for her roles as Roz DoyleΒ on the TV seriesΒ FrasierΒ and Kim Keeler in theΒ ABC Family dramaΒ Make It or Break It. She is due to reprise the role of Roz in the upcoming revival ofΒ Frasier.
From 1993 until 2004, she played Roz Doyle on the sitcomΒ Frasier, a spin-off ofΒ Cheers, starringΒ Kelsey GrammerΒ asΒ Frasier Crane, the role he had played onΒ CheersΒ since 1984. Along with the principal cast, she won aΒ Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy SeriesΒ in 1999.
In 2009, she appeared in theΒ ABC FamilyΒ dramaΒ Make It or Break It,Β for which she received aΒ Gracie AwardΒ in the category of Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Drama Series.
Gilpin andΒ FrasierΒ co-starΒ Jane LeevesΒ ran a production company, Bristol Cities (named from theΒ cockney rhyming slang), whose projects included a Fox network pilot titledΒ Minister of Divine, an American remake of the British sitcomΒ The Vicar of Dibley,Β withΒ Kirstie AlleyΒ (anotherΒ CheersΒ regular) in a starring role.
She is theΒ voice artistΒ for the character Jane Proudfoot inΒ Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. She also provided the voices ofΒ DesireeΒ in theΒ NickelodeonΒ animated television seriesΒ Danny Phantom,Β VolcanaΒ inΒ Superman: The Animated SeriesΒ andΒ Justice League,Β HecateΒ inΒ Hercules: The Animated Series, andΒ Kate CorriganΒ in theΒ HellboyΒ animated films. She also did voice work for severalΒ Wells FargoΒ and Johnsonville Meats TV commercials.
She had a recurring role inΒ Men at WorkΒ onΒ TBSΒ as editor ofΒ Full SteamΒ magazine. In the second season ofΒ Scorpion, she was introduced as Katherine Cooper, a team superior in homeland security.
