Osgood RobertΒ "Oz"Β Perkins IIΒ (born February 2, 1974) is an American filmmaker and actor. He began his career as a child actor, portraying the young version of his father,Β Anthony Perkins' characterΒ Norman BatesΒ inΒ Psycho IIΒ (1983), and later appeared in films such asΒ Six Degrees of SeparationΒ (1993),Β Legally BlondeΒ (2001),Β Not Another Teen MovieΒ (2001),Β Star TrekΒ (2009), andΒ NopeΒ (2022).Β
He made his directorial debut with the horror filmΒ The Blackcoat's DaughterΒ (2015) and has since become known for directing horror films such asΒ I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016),Β Gretel & HanselΒ (2020),Β LonglegsΒ (2024), andΒ The MonkeyΒ (2025). He co-founded the production company Phobos with producer Chris Ferguson.
