Miles MillarΒ (/ˈmΙͺlΙ™r/Β MIL-Ι™r; born 1967) is anΒ Australian-BritishΒ screenwriter,Β showrunner, producer, creator, developer, and director.

He is best known as the creator ofΒ Netflix's 2022 live-actionΒ comedy horrorΒ seriesΒ Wednesday,Β theΒ Tim Burton-helmedΒ Addams FamilyΒ spin-off. It holds the record as the most-watchedΒ English-languageΒ series in the history of Netflix.

Alongside his longtime writing/producing partnerΒ Alfred Gough, Millar also created, produced, wrote, and developed other television programs likeΒ The WB/The CW'sΒ action-adventureSuperman-prequelΒ televisionΒ hit seriesΒ Smallville,Β AMC's 2015 wuxia-influenced dystopian television seriesΒ Into the BadlandsΒ andΒ MTV's 2016 epicΒ fantasy dramaΒ televisionΒ seriesΒ The Shannara ChroniclesΒ (based onΒ The Sword of Shannara TrilogyΒ book trilogy byΒ Terry Brooks).
