His mother and maternal grandparents raised Creighton onΒ Long Island, New York.

As a writer, in addition to creating and starring in the Writers Guild Award-winning web seriesΒ Jack in a BoxΒ (2009β2012),Β he wrote and guest starred in an episode of the popular web seriesΒ High MaintenanceΒ created by Katja Blichfeld & Ben Sinclair. The episode is called "Helen".
He was a founding member of the New YorkΒ Neo-FuturistsΒ and performed weekly inΒ Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind.
