Matt ShakmanΒ (born August 8, 1975) is an American director and former child actor. He is best known for directing theΒ MCUΒ miniseriesΒ WandaVisionΒ (2021) and the filmΒ The Fantastic Four: First StepsΒ (2025). He has also directed episodes ofΒ The Great,Β It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,Β FargoΒ andΒ Game of Thrones. He was the artistic director of theΒ Geffen PlayhouseΒ in Los Angeles, California, from 2017 to 2023.
