Mark TaylorΒ (born 1 December 1966) is aΒ sound effectsΒ andΒ re-recording mixer.

Taylor has won twoΒ Primetime Emmy Awards. The first was in 2000 for his work onΒ RKO 281, and the second in 2002 forΒ Band of Brothers: Carentan. In 2014, Taylor and his fellow sound mixers were nominated for anΒ Academy Award for Best Sound MixingΒ for the 2013 filmΒ Captain Phillips.Β Taylor was nominated again at theΒ 88th Academy AwardsΒ for the filmΒ The Martian. In 2020, he received his third Academy Award nomination and first win for Best Sound Mixing for the 2019 filmΒ 1917 at theΒ 92nd Academy Awards. He received further nominations, this time in the category ofΒ Best Sound, for his work onΒ No Time to DieΒ (2021) andΒ Top Gun: MaverickΒ (2022), winning his second Academy Award for the latter.Β He was nominated again for Best Sound for his work onΒ Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part OneΒ (2023).
