Lori Tan ChinnΒ (born 1948 or 1949) is an American actress and comedian. She played a recurring character in theΒ NetflixΒ seriesΒ Orange Is the New BlackΒ andΒ Awkwafina's grandmother onΒ Comedy CentralΒ (2020β2023). Chinn began acting onΒ Broadway, playing Miss Higa Jiga inΒ Lovely Ladies, Kind GentlemenΒ (1970). She was also a notable member of theΒ Katherine Dunham CompanyΒ and performed African dance withΒ Syvilla Fort.
