Leonard Norman WeinΒ (/wiːn/; June 12, 1948 – September 10, 2017) was an American comic book writer and editor best known for co-creatingΒ DC Comics'Β Swamp ThingΒ andΒ Marvel Comics'Β Wolverine, and for helping revive the MarvelΒ superheroΒ team theΒ X-MenΒ (including the co-creation ofΒ Nightcrawler,Β Storm, andΒ Colossus). Additionally, he was the editor ofΒ Alan MooreΒ and Β Dave Gibbons' influential DCΒ miniseriesΒ Watchmen.

Wein was inducted into theΒ Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of FameΒ in 2008.
