Laura Haddock is an actress. Born inΒ Enfield,Β LondonΒ and raised inΒ Harpenden,Β HertfordshireΒ (where she attendedΒ St. George's School),Β Haddock left school at the age of 17 and moved to London to study drama.Β She trained atΒ Arts Educational SchoolΒ inΒ Chiswick. Haddock made her television debut in the television pilotΒ Plus One, part of theΒ Comedy ShowcaseΒ 2008.Β Her other television credits includeΒ The Palace,Β My Family,Β The Colour of Magic,Β Marple: A Pocket Full of RyeΒ andΒ Honest, playing the lead role of Kacie Carter. She also appeared in the pilot episode ofΒ Life Is Wild, the American version ofΒ Wild at Heart.Β She also starred in adverts forΒ dot tel. Haddock played the lead role of Natasha in theΒ ITV1Β comedy dramaMonday Monday, and appears in series two and three ofΒ How Not to Live Your Life, replacing previous female leadSinΓ©ad Moynihan. In 2011, she appeared in theΒ Cinemax/SkyΒ TV dramaΒ Strike Back: Project DawnΒ for two episodes playing the kidnapped daughter of an illegal arms dealer. She stars as Lucrezia Donati,Β the mistress ofΒ Lorenzo de' MediciΒ and lover ofLeonardo da VinciΒ in the 2013 seriesΒ Da Vinci's Demons.Β Haddock's theatre credits includeΒ Famous Last, which formed as part of the 2009Β Sky ArtsΒ Theatre Live! project,Β andΒ Rutherford & SonΒ atΒ Northern Stage.
