He began acting in 2000, earning recognition for playingΒ Bart AllenΒ in the superhero seriesΒ SmallvilleΒ (2004β2009),Β Cassidy "Beaver" CasablancasΒ in the mystery drama seriesΒ Veronica MarsΒ (2005β2006), andΒ Reed GarrettΒ in the police drama seriesΒ CSI: NYΒ (2006β2010).
