Kyle Martin ChandlerΒ (born September 17, 1965) is an American actor. He received critical acclaim for his performance asΒ Eric TaylorΒ in theΒ NBCΒ seriesΒ Friday Night Lights(2006β2011), winning theΒ Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama SeriesΒ in 2011.
Making his screen acting debut in the 1988 television filmΒ Quiet Victory: The Charlie Wedemeyer Story, Chandler's first regular television role was in theΒ ABCΒ dramaΒ HomefrontΒ (1991β1993). This was followed by the lead role ofΒ Gary HobsonΒ in theΒ seriesΒ Early EditionΒ (1996β2000). His well-received guest appearance on the medical dramaΒ Grey's AnatomyΒ (2006β2007) earned Chandler his firstΒ Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
