ΫΩ ΨΉΩΫ ΩΨ§ΩΨ¬ΫΨ§ΩΫ; born May 2, 1978) is a Pakistani-American stand-up comedian and actor. He is known for his role asΒ DineshΒ in theΒ HBOΒ comedy seriesΒ Silicon ValleyΒ (2014β2019) and for co-writing and starring in the romantic comedy filmΒ The Big SickΒ (2017). For co-writing the latter with his wife,Β Emily V. Gordon, they were nominated for theΒ Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. In 2018,Β Time magazine named him one of theΒ 100 most influential people in the world.Β He was nominated for theΒ Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama SeriesΒ for his role inΒ The Twilight ZoneΒ executive produced byΒ Jordan PeeleΒ in 2019.
