Biography

Kenpachirō Satsuma (θ–©ζ‘©ε‰£ε…«ιƒŽ) was a Japanese actor and stuntman born as Yasuaki Maeda (ε‰η”°ι–ζ˜­) on May 27, 1947 in Kagoshima. He is known for portraying Godzilla on screen in various films between 1971, in Godzilla vs. Hedorah, and 1995, in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. He used the stage names Ryoma Kusaka (久坂龍馬) and Kengo Nakayama (中山剣吾) before settling on Kenpachiro Satsuma in 1984.
