Karen McCullahΒ (born December 5, 1967) is an AmericanΒ screenwriterΒ andΒ novelistΒ most known for co-writing comedies such asΒ 10 Things I Hate About You,Β Legally Blonde,Β Ella Enchanted,Β The House Bunny,Β The Ugly Truth, andΒ She's the Man with her screenwriting partnerΒ Kirsten Smith. After graduating fromΒ James Madison UniversityΒ with a degree in marketing, McCullah worked various jobs before beginning to write. She is a faculty member atΒ Syracuse University's Los Angeles Semester.
