Jonathan Michael MajorsΒ (born September 7, 1989)Β is an American actor. A graduate of theΒ Yale School of Drama, Majors rose to prominence for starring in the drama filmsΒ The Last Black Man in San FranciscoΒ (2019) andΒ Da 5 BloodsΒ (2020) and theΒ HBOΒ horror seriesΒ Lovecraft CountryΒ (2020), for which he received a nomination from theΒ Primetime Emmy Awards.
Majors has since portrayedΒ Nat LoveΒ in the westernΒ The Harder They FallΒ (2021),Β Jesse L. BrownΒ in the war filmΒ DevotionΒ (2022), and antagonist Dame Anderson in the sports filmΒ Creed IIIΒ (2023). In theΒ Marvel Cinematic UniverseΒ (MCU), he portrayedΒ Kang the ConquerorΒ in the filmΒ Ant-Man and the Wasp: QuantumaniaΒ (2023) while also appearing as other variants of the character in theΒ Disney+Β seriesΒ LokiΒ (2021β2023).
In March 2023, Majors was arrested forΒ physically assaultingΒ his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. That December, he was found guilty of two misdemeanour counts ofΒ assaultΒ andΒ harassment.Β After the conviction, he was dropped from numerous upcoming projects, including any future involvement with the MCU. He subsequently served a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program.
