Jon HutmanΒ is an AmericanΒ production designer.
Some of his film credits in that field includeΒ HeathersΒ (1988),Β A River Runs Through ItΒ (1992),Β Quiz ShowΒ (1994),Β French KissΒ (1995),Β The Horse WhispererΒ (1998),Β Coyote UglyΒ (2000) andΒ Rock of AgesΒ (2012). He has also been the production designer for all the films thatΒ Nancy MeyersΒ has directed sinceΒ What Women WantΒ (2000). He has also been the production designer for "The Tourist" (2010) and both of the films thatΒ Angelina JolieΒ has directed since "In the Land of Blood and Honey" (2011) and "Unbroken" (2014).
In 2000, Hutman won aΒ Primetime Emmy AwardΒ for Outstanding Art Direction for a Single-Camera Series, for his production design work on theΒ pilot episodeΒ of the television seriesΒ The West Wing, sharing the award with Tony Fanning (art director) and Ellen Totleben (set decorator).Β In 2001, he directed an episode ofΒ The West WingΒ entitled "Gone Quiet". Before this, he directed an episode ofΒ Gideon's Crossing.
