He is best known for directing the filmsΒ The RookieΒ (2002),Β The Alamo (2004),Β The Blind SideΒ (2009),Β Saving Mr. Banks (2013),Β The FounderΒ (2016),Β The Highwaymen (2019),Β The Little ThingsΒ (2021), andΒ Mr. Harrigan's PhoneΒ (2022). He also wrote the filmΒ A Perfect WorldΒ (1993) screenplay.
