Jing LusiΒ (born 16 May 1985) is a Chinese-British actress. She is best known for her roles inΒ Stan Lee's Lucky Man, the 2018 hit filmΒ Crazy Rich Asians and BAFTAΒ nominated seriesΒ Gangs of London. On stage, she was part of the original cast of the European premiere ofΒ Amy Herzog's playΒ 4000 Miles. She has presented for theΒ BBC, as well as being the focus, for the documentariesΒ My Chinese New YearΒ (2015) andΒ Chinese New Year: The Biggest Celebration on EarthΒ (2016).
She was born inΒ Pudong, Shanghai, and moved with her parents to the United Kingdom at the age of five. Her family settled in Southampton,Β her father having been granted a scholarship to study a master's degree at the university. She studied atΒ Peter Symonds College,Β Winchester, then read law atΒ University College London.
