Biography

Jane Loretta Anne GoldmanΒ (born 11 June 1970) is a British screenwriter and producer. She is mainly known for collaborating with directorΒ Matthew VaughnΒ on the screenplays ofΒ Kingsman: The Secret ServiceΒ (2014) and its sequel, Kingsman: The Golden CircleΒ (2017), as well asΒ X-Men: First ClassΒ (2011),Β Kick-AssΒ (2010), andΒ StardustΒ (2007). Goldman also worked on the story ofΒ X-Men: Days of Future Past(2014), the sequel toΒ First Class, again in partnership with Vaughn. Both met high critical praise for their work.

Goldman's first solo screenplay isΒ The Woman in BlackΒ (2012). She also wrote the script forΒ The Limehouse GolemΒ andΒ Tim Burton'sΒ Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, released in 2016. She is the writer ofΒ Edgar Wright's upcoming remake ofΒ Barbarella.

She has also written books such asΒ The X-FilesΒ Book of the UnexplainedΒ (1995) and the novelΒ DreamworldΒ (2000). Goldman presented her TV show,Β Jane Goldman InvestigatesΒ (2003–04), a non-fiction series on theΒ paranormal, for the channelΒ Living.
