He is best known for his starring roles in the comedy seriesΒ MADtv (2002–2007),Β Eastbound & DownΒ (2012),Β The Mindy ProjectΒ (2012–2017),Β Bless the Harts (2019–2021),Β The AfterpartyΒ (2022),Β History of the World, Part IIΒ (2023), andΒ The StudioΒ (2025–present), the latter which earned him aΒ Primetime EmmyΒ nomination.Β
