She has starred asΒ Claire BennetΒ on theΒ NBCΒ superhero seriesΒ HeroesΒ (2006β2010),Β Kirby ReedΒ in theΒ slasherΒ horror franchiseΒ ScreamΒ (2011β2023), andΒ Juliette BarnesΒ in theΒ ABC/CMTΒ musical drama seriesΒ NashvilleΒ (2012β2018). The latter earned her two nominations for theΒ Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress β Series, Miniseries or Television Film.
Panettiere first appeared on-screen in a commercial in 1990 at eleven months old. Her full-time acting career began in 1994 when she playedΒ Sarah RobertsΒ in theΒ ABCΒ soap opera seriesΒ One Life to LiveΒ until 1997. She playedΒ Lizzie SpauldingΒ in theΒ CBSΒ soap opera Β Guiding Light from 1996 to 2000.
