Hannibal Amir BuressΒ (/ΛbΚrΙͺs/Β BURR-iss; born February 4, 1983) is an American comedian, actor, producer, writer, musician, and venue owner. He started performing comedy in 2002 while attendingΒ Southern Illinois University. He starred onΒ Adult Swim'sΒ The Eric Andre ShowΒ from 2012 to 2020, and was featured onΒ Comedy Central'sΒ Broad City from 2014 to 2019. He is also known for hisΒ October 16, 2014, stand-up routine, which brought the sexual assault allegations againstΒ Bill CosbyΒ to public attention and outcry, for which he was lauded.
