The daughter of filmmakerΒ Bruce PaltrowΒ and actressΒ Blythe Danner, she established herself as aΒ leading lady, appearing primarily in mid-budgetΒ andΒ period filmsΒ during the 1990s and early 2000s, before transitioning toΒ blockbustersΒ and franchises.Β Her accolades include anΒ Academy Award, aΒ Golden Globe Award, and aΒ Primetime Emmy Award.
