George Andrew J. MacKayΒ (/mΙΛkaΙͺ/;Β born 13 March 1992) is an English actor. He began his career as a child actor inΒ Peter PanΒ (2003). He had starring roles in the British war dramaΒ Private PeacefulΒ (2012), the romantic filmΒ How I Live Now (2013),Β For Those in PerilΒ (2013), for which he won aΒ BAFTA Scotland Award, andΒ MarrowboneΒ (2017). He gained wider recognition for his leading role in the war filmΒ 1917Β (2019). He won aΒ British Independent Film AwardΒ for his performance inΒ FemmeΒ (2023).
