She gained prominence with her starring roles inΒ Crazy Rich AsiansΒ and asΒ Elizabeth HardwickΒ inΒ Mary Queen of ScotsΒ (both 2018).Β
She next starred in theΒ Marvel Cinematic Universe filmsΒ Captain MarvelΒ (2019) andΒ EternalsΒ (2021), portrayingΒ Minn-ErvaΒ andΒ Sersi, respectively.
