Francis LawrenceΒ (born March 26, 1971)Β is an American filmmaker and producer. After establishing himself as a director of music videos and commercials, Lawrence made his feature-length directorial debut with the superhero thrillerΒ ConstantineΒ (2005) and has since directed theΒ post-apocalypticΒ horror filmΒ I Am Legend (2007), the romantic dramaΒ Water for ElephantsΒ (2011), four of the five films inΒ The Hunger GamesΒ film series, and the spy thrillerΒ Red SparrowΒ (2018).
