Felix Gary GrayΒ (born July 17, 1969)Β is an American director and producer. Gray began his career as a director on numerous critically acclaimed and award-winning music videos, including "It Was a Good Day" byΒ Ice Cube, "Natural Born Killaz" byΒ Dr. DreΒ and Ice Cube, "Keep Their Heads Ringin'" by Dr. Dre, "Waterfalls" byΒ TLC, and "Ms. Jackson" byΒ Outkast.
Gray made his feature-film directorial debut with the comedyΒ FridayΒ (1995). He has since directed the filmsΒ Set It OffΒ (1996),Β The NegotiatorΒ (1998),Β The Italian JobΒ (2003),Β Be CoolΒ (2005),Β Law Abiding CitizenΒ (2009), andΒ Straight Outta ComptonΒ (2015). He also directed the eighth instalment of theΒ Fast & FuriousΒ franchise,Β The Fate of the FuriousΒ (2017), which is one of theΒ highest-grossing films of all time.
