Born in Istanbul in 1991, ElΓ§in Afacan graduated from the Theater Department of the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory after completing her education at AdΔ± GΓΌzel Fine Arts High School. She made her first appearance in the 2015 series "GamsΔ±z Hayat" (GaamsΔ±z Hayat), followed by a role in the 2016 program "GΓΆrevimiz Komedi" (Our Mission Comedy) and, that same year, her breakthrough in the series "Δ°Γ§erde." Most recently, she shared the lead roles in the 2019 series "Bir Aile Hikayesi" (A Family Story) alongside SongΓΌl Γden, Birkan Sokullu, Celil NalΓ§akan, and Olgun Toker. Continuing her theater career, Afacan has appeared in the plays Dolores Claiborne, Mr. Kolpert, The Woman from the Past, The Balcony, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Δ°smene, ΓbΓΌ Hep ΓbΓΌ, and Blu. ElΓ§in Afacan will portray Melek in the series "Sen Γal KapΔ±mΔ±."
