Edward Ricourt is an American screenwriter and television producer. He began his career through Marvel Studios' Writing Program, which encouraged him to write a script forΒ Luke Cage, as it was of high interest to the studio. Despite no Luke Cage project being made, Ricourt contributed uncredited script revisions toΒ ThorΒ (2011). However, Ricourt gained significant recognition in theatrical filmmaking as a co-writer of the screenplay and story for the heist thrillerΒ Now You See MeΒ (2013), which led to further involvement in the franchise.
In television, Ricourt served as a writer and executive story editor onΒ Wayward PinesΒ (2015), contributing to the showβs second season. That same year, he wrote for the Marvel television seriesΒ Jessica JonesΒ (2015) and worked as a consulting producer.
Ricourt continued this trajectory as a writer and producer on Netflixβs superhero family dramaΒ Raising DionΒ (2019), where he wrote teleplays and served as a producer and later supervising producer across multiple episodes from 2019 to 2022. He was nominated at the Childrenβs & Family Emmy Awards for Outstanding Childrenβs or Family Viewing Series forΒ Raising DionΒ (2019), alongside fellow producers and creative leads.
