Deirdre O'ConnellΒ (born December 30, 1951) is anΒ AmericanΒ character actress. She began her career at Stage One, an experimental theatre at theΒ Boston Center for the Arts. She made her BroadwayΒ debut in the 1986 revival ofΒ The Front Page, and was nominated for the 1991Β Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a PlayΒ for her performance in theΒ off-BroadwayΒ productionΒ Love and Anger. She is the recipient of twoΒ Drama-Logue AwardsΒ and aΒ Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle AwardΒ for her stage work inΒ Los Angeles. O'Connell made her screen debut inΒ Tin Men.
