Deion Luwynn Sanders Sr.Β (born August 9, 1967) is an AmericanΒ footballΒ coach and former player who is the head football coach at theΒ University of Colorado Boulder. Nicknamed "Prime Time", he played in theΒ National Football LeagueΒ (NFL) for 14 seasons with theΒ Atlanta Falcons,Β San Francisco 49ers,Β Dallas Cowboys,Β Washington Redskins, andΒ Baltimore Ravens. Sanders was also aΒ baseballΒ outfielderΒ for nine seasons inΒ Major League BaseballΒ (MLB) with theΒ New York Yankees,Β Atlanta Braves,Β Cincinnati Reds, andΒ San Francisco Giants. He won twoΒ Super BowlΒ titles and made oneΒ World SeriesΒ appearance inΒ 1992, making him the only athlete to play in both a Super Bowl and a World Series.
