David Packard CorenswetΒ (/ΛkΙΛrΙnswΙt/CORE-in-SWET; born July 8, 1993) is an American actor. After graduating fromΒ JuilliardΒ in 2016, he began guest-starring in television series, includingΒ House of CardsΒ in 2018. He played lead roles in theΒ Netflix seriesΒ The PoliticianΒ (2019β2020) andΒ Hollywood (2020), both created byΒ Ryan Murphy. In 2022, he starred in the filmsΒ Look Both WaysΒ andΒ Pearl, as well as theΒ HBOΒ miniseriesΒ We Own This City. After supporting roles in the filmΒ TwistersΒ and the miniseriesΒ Lady in the LakeΒ (both 2024), he rose to prominence with his portrayal of theΒ titular superheroΒ inΒ James Gunn'sΒ DC UniverseΒ filmΒ SupermanΒ (2025).
