Daniela MelchiorΒ (European Portuguese:Β [dΙniΛΙlΙmΙlΚiΛΙΙΎ]; born 1 November 1996) is a Portuguese actress. Born inΒ Almada, SetΓΊbal, she launched her career in 2014 with a role inΒ the telenovela Mulheres. She went on to appear in theΒ teen dramaΒ Massa FrescaΒ (2016), telenovelasΒ Ouro VerdeΒ (2017), andΒ A HerdeiraΒ (2018). Melchior made her film debut in 2018 withΒ The Black Book. She provided the Portuguese dubbing forΒ Gwen StacyΒ inΒ Spider-Man: Into the Spider-VerseΒ and was cast in the comedy-dramaΒ Parque MayerΒ in the same year. Her performance in the latter earned her a nomination for theΒ Sophia AwardΒ for Best Actress.
She had her international breakthrough asΒ Cleo CazoΒ in theΒ DCEUΒ filmΒ The Suicide SquadΒ (2021), which earned her a nomination forΒ Best Newcomer at the PortugueseΒ Golden Globes. Subsequently, she took on minor roles in English-language films, includingΒ MarloweΒ (2022),Β Assassin ClubΒ (2023),Β Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3Β (2023) andΒ Fast X (2023).
