McQuarrie is a frequent collaborator withΒ Tom Cruise, having written and directed the action filmsΒ Jack ReacherΒ (2012), as well as four instalments of theΒ Mission: ImpossibleΒ film series:Β Rogue NationΒ (2015),Β FalloutΒ (2018),Β Dead ReckoningΒ (2023), andΒ The Final ReckoningΒ (2025).
