Alfie Evan AllenΒ (born September 12, 1986) is an English actor, best knownΒ for his role as Theon GreyjoyΒ on theΒ HBOΒ fantasy seriesΒ Game of ThronesΒ (2011β2019), for which he received a nomination for theΒ Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama SeriesΒ in 2019. In film, he is best known for his starring roles inΒ John WickΒ (2014),Β The PredatorΒ (2018), andΒ Jojo RabbitΒ (2019).
His older sister is singerΒ Lily Allen. Allen's first professional appearance was in a one-offΒ Channel 4Β comedy,Β You Are HereΒ in 1998. The same year, Allen and his sister Lily appeared in the 1998 film,Β Elizabeth, which was produced by their mother.Β His early work included small roles inΒ Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London, AtonementΒ and BBC1's historical hospital drama,Β Casualty 1907. In 2008, he took over Daniel Radcliffe's role in the stage play, Equus. He has continued to work in films, appearing inΒ Soulboy,Β The Kid,Β FreestyleΒ andΒ PowderΒ in 2010.Β In 2012, he starred in the British thriller,Β Confine.Β
