Alexander DreymonΒ (bornΒ Alexander Doetsch; 7 February 1983) is a German actor. He is best known for portraying Uhtred of Bebbanburg in the television seriesΒ The Last KingdomΒ (2015β2022). Dreymon's other notable roles were inΒ Christopher and His KindΒ (2011) andΒ American Horror Story: CovenΒ (2013β2014). Dreymon also appeared in the 2011Β film "Resistance," set during World War II.
